South Interlake Sno Riders Snowmobile Club |
We are a group of avid snowmobilers promoting the sport of |
snowmobiling within the South Interlake region. Our primary concern, |
is to educate snowmobilers, young and old, on the safe operation |
of snowmobiles in order to lessen the chance of serious accidents and |
possibly, fatalities. |
Our Club has in excess of 170 kms of groomed trails with a huge |
warm-up shelter stocked with firewood just off the Prime Meridian, |
in the Balmoral area. An outdoor firepit, charcoal BBQ, picnic tables |
and out-house are provided for the comfort of our guests. Don't |
worry about being in the dark during one of our long cold winter nights |
as there is an abundance of power to light the LED strips which line |
the ceiling of the shelter. |
Annually, we hold a poker derby in January, along with club rides, a |
family ride and other unorganized activities. All events are open to |
families and rides include stops along the way to suit all riding |
styles. |
